They have a short version at the recruiter's office. At least that's true for USMC as far as I know.

Most bookstores also have in the self help section, ASAVB for dummies. That is a great resource. I would talk to recruiters from all services and tell them that you want to take the pre test. They can set you up to take it in their office. Not sure if it the same test for all services but give it a shot.

like redneck said they offer an "ASVAB East" at the recruiting stations, go in and request one, usually takes under an hour on the computer, and was very close to the actual, as for other options, schools routinely give, and im sure you could find one online, although to be honest im not sure how accurate they would be.
