China Rejects Powell Call for Dialogue with Taiwan

BEIJING/TAIPEI (Reuters) - China rejected on Wednesday Secretary of State Colin Powell's call to resume dialogue with Taipei, saying Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian's overtures were meaningless and no grounds existed for talks.
