AP - President Hugo Chavez is praising Carlos the Jackal, the imprisoned Venezuelan once notorious for a series of Cold War-era bombings, assassinations and hostage dramas, saying he was a "revolutionary fighter" and not a terrorist.

Chavez isnt making very many friends is he? I am sure the French (who are holding Carlos) will not appriciate his comments as Carlos was responsible for the murder of several people in France including 2 police officers.
