Official line or not, Luton has been a hot-bed of terrorist activity, connected to the London bombings, and Luton guys found fighting against our troops in Afghanistan. They are still on the streets of Luton handing out the same vile material today!

A MUSLIM hate preacher who demanded that all British women be forced to wear burkhas faced a storm of outrage last night.
Firebrand Anjem Choudary said he wanted every woman to be covered by a full-length cloak in his vision of Britain under Sharia law.
The lawyer, who praised the Mumbai terror attacks, also said he wanted to see the “flag of Allah” flying over Downing Street, adulterers stoned to death and drunks whipped.
Choudary, 41, sparked fury this week when he branded British soldiers “cowards” and was behind a sickening anti-war protest against troops who were arriving home from Iraq to a heroic welcome.
Last night politicians and fellow Muslims condemned his comments while some called for him to leave the country.
Choudary, the leader of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, a group set up following the banning of extremist sect al-Muhajiroun, led by now-exiled preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed, said he offered “a pure Islamic state with Sharia law in Britain”.
He said: “Every woman, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, would have to wear a traditional burkha and cover everything apart from her face and hands in public.”
“In matters to do with the judicial system and the penal code, one male witness is sufficient to counter the testimony of two females. People who commit adultery would be stoned to death.”
He said Britons “with their alcohol, gambling, prostitution and pornography” live “like animals in a jungle” and added that “anyone who becomes intoxicated with alcohol should be given 40 lashes in public”.
And he has called for the assassination of The Pope.

This is a man that does not belong in GB. I'm wondering why he hasn't been taken in, due to his incitement for hate crimes. Sad, we have a great military, a superb police force but have politicians and a judiciary with spines made of custard. He is entitled to his view and I'm pleased to see that some muslims want him to shut up, what is being doen to make that happen?
As it happens he was the No 2 to Bakri, who was a leading purveyor of hatred and was finally expelled a little time ago, and now operates of the internet from Lebanon. The character in question is his mouthpiece. We have a strange attitude to these troublemakers - recently a leading vitriol merchant, on bail, while we were trying to remove him, was three times arrested trying to smuggle himself OUT of Britain in disguise!!! He is costing us a fortune in appeals etc.
These are the cosy government attitudes we are striving to overcome; they will still not put a cap figure on immigration, and they have no idea whatsoever how many illegals we have here.
We need an Australian type attitude to these matters, and the determination to enforce the rules. I have to say that many immigrants themselves feel that we have reached the tipping point.

About 20 years ago when I lived in UK, one of my dads neighbours was a massive Hells Angel fella riding his Harley. He was actually a nice chap who carried out a lot of charity work including running transplant organs between hospitals.
One day his young son came home from school stating he had homework to do. The chap said “great, go ahead.” The boy went to his bedroom when he heard his son reciting Hindi. He took the book from his son and asked what this was all about. The boy stated that his teacher had told the class that that have to learn Hindi as there were more and more pupils joining the school who didnt speak English.
The chap went to the school the very next morning and stormed into the headmaster office without knocking. The story how he related it went something like this:-
Hells Angel (throwing the book on the desk ) “What the F&^% is this, telling my son he has to learn Hindi???”
Headmaster, “Well as we have more pupils coming to this school who cannot speak English, I consider it the right things to do.”
Hells Angel “This is England, if they want to live in MY country they speak MY language, if they cant, they either learn it or they go back to where they come from!! AND MY son is NOT learning Hindi or any other language like it. IF I hear MY son is being forced to learn Hindi, I'll come back and mark my words, you wont like it if I do”
His son never did learn Hindi

Yes, this goes right to heart of the mistakes. Now we have people who run pre-school groups for children, etc., having to learn Urdu, and immigrant parents who refuse to learn English. We have children objecting to joining in mornig assemblies; we have after school dance groups having to close simply becausethey include a few boys .
If I went to live in foreign country I would respect their culture, just as I did when I visited or served.
All this nonsense could have been avoided if common-sense had been imposed earlier. Now - well , we will have to see.

The Metropolitan Police (London) argue that there are at least 2000 active Jihadists in our midst, while 4000 British-based Muslims are estimated to have been trained in terror camps in recent years………
According to polls, at least 40% of our (at least) 2 million Muslims support the introduction of sharia law, with all its misogyny, oppression and homophobia.; they have never taken to the streets to protest about honour killings, forced marriages, the slaughter of gays or raped women, genocide in Darfur or mass terrorism……..
Their biggest demonstrations have been over the Danish cartoons and support of Hamas…….
The only way to defeat Islamism is by standing up for the values of democracy, freedom and patriotism, very little of which has been demonstrated by our current government.

Del Boy, I agree with the first part of your post, I have lived most of my life abroad & have enjoyed learning about, & respecting other cultures (except when they said no beer).
The latter part I think is almost scaremongering. I haven't lived in the UK in the last 4 years, but I knew several muslims, who professed to me that they didn't like the religious overtones that Iraq & Afghanistan were taking. I have to agree with them, I hate broad brush generalisations. There is no doubt that there is a minority of British muslims who are anti the establishment, but then so are most teenagers!
I think that all of us, should be working together, enabling the Police to prosecute the wrongdoers & have strong politicians who are willing to ensure that our constitution and laws are enforced, not allowing GB to become a safe haven for people with big wallets and little integrity, like our current crop of politicians.
Partisan, you are demonstrating precisely the attitudes that have caused this sorry situation.

Running away from the problem is what we have been doing for far too long, and is no answer. Furthermore - this threat is no longer confined to the middle east, but is showing itself world-wide.

Del Boy, I read & understood the original posting & I was heartily sickened that the spineless authorities did nothing to tackle the instigators - had they been middle class natives inciting racial hatred against Germans for the Holocaust, Japanese for the Rape of Nanking etc, they would be residing at 'Er Majesty's Pleasure.
What gets me is when we apply a label to everyone, all blond haired blue eyed people are Aryans, therefore Nazis, all Muslims are fundamentalists, therefore terrorists. As your latest link shows, this is not the case - Leicester is a city with a white minority, a high number of muslims, sikhs & hindus, the bulk of these people are British, either born or naturalised and support their adopted country whole heartedly.
At the end of the day the people that produced this flyer are inciting hatred - that is against the law and thus they must be punished. I am not running away from this issue, but if we generalise the subject, we generalise the solution, which really does alienate people, because the innocent get wrapped up in grand sweeping reactions.

Yes Partisan, I accept your point, and I was very happy to provide the last post because it may well be symbolic of a turning point; a moment when the Brits stood and demonstrated that enough is enough, and a moment when the moderate immigrant population stood and agreed. Agreed, if you move to a new country you have to accpet their culture & lifestyle, it doesn't mean that you have to give your roots up, just respect where you live. I'm living in America, it ain't perfect and I don't agree with everything, but I speak my mind in a respectful manner, suggest other options and accept other peoples views.
I feel for you, because it breaks my heart to see this kind of attitude to our forces, if people really disagree strongly enough, take it out on the govt, they direct the military, not the servicemen and women who are doing their job.
