From Army ADA in 1965 into many Defense companies. Electronics Degree in Digital Electronics using GI Bill. The first computer I worked on had magnetic core memory. I watched transistors take over the jobs of tubes. I worked on Military projects from Anchorage, Alaska to Tampa, Florida. From Burlington, Vermont to San Diego, California. From Wisconsin to Yuma, Az. Every navigable river in USA, Mississippi, Monongahela, Tennessee, Ohio, and some I don't remember. Iron boats on the Great Lakes and the Intercoastal Canal. Most of the maritime travel was Radar and 1Kw Xenon searchlights for navigation. Somehow, I've gotten involved in IIR and FLIR for surveillance and targeting as well as range finders. I worked for a while on phototimers for X-ray machines. Now that I am a little older, the company that I am presently working for, Raytheon, has not made me travel so much. That is about all. It covers 39 years and has not been a bad career.
