Of course. Basil Brush did/does exist as a television children's entertainer, very jolly and popular. And I just thought it was amusing to set him up as your alter-ego, because of your new avatar. Just teasing.

His catch-phrase was a very well known Boom- Boom! delivered after his jokes. He can be found on Wiki.
