What do you call these people..

I was just wondering, since ive been reading about the early ways of dissemination of chemical weapons [Like mustard gas in WWI] and I was wondering what do you call the MILITARY personell that are specially trained to do combat, decontaminate etc in a NBC enviroment.

I asked one of my friends who understands a fair bit about aviation [She could have still known] and she says she isnt sure.

They look like this [Just incase somebody is thinking about the wrong thing]:

Well well well... you've stepped into my area of expertise.
You'd be referring mostly to NBC Defense Specialists. I believe that is the most common term for them. How they are classified is also different.
In many countries NBC Defense Specialists fall under a separate NBC MOS, but that is not the case in every country. In my service, NBC Defense Specialists fell under the Infantry Occupational Field with the NBC Defense Specialist being specified as a specific job in that occupational field.

As for your photos, they could be just about anyone of almost every MOS. All personnel are issued NBC protection kits containing a type of NBC protection suit (like the US MOPP suits), a gas mask, a boot cover, gloves etc. How many are issued and specifically what depends on your service.

Too bad for the UK dude, he's not wearing it right.
3rd picture looks odd too.

The last one looks like its made of cloth.

Do they provide any protection from blistering agents, or is it just protection from nerve agents like Sarin, Novichok, VX etc etc [Im talking about the chemical suits]?

They protect you from most of the stuff to varying degrees of effectiveness to the extent that a non overpressurized suit could protect you.
If I got any more specific I'd probably riding the line in terms of what I'm allowed to say and what I'm not allowed to say.

In Germany we had the NBC Defense (though, of cause, named differently) as a separate unit, but then, within every other unit, at least one NBC Defense Specialist (meaning he had done the course) who was supposed to assist the unit leader in case of NBC attacks.

Rattler

There are dedicated NBC units here as well.
I'm pretty sure the Army over here has NBC under a totally different class than Infantry.
