U.S. soldier killed when patrol was hit by roadside bomb in east Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq - (AP) A U.S. soldiers was killed when a patrol hit a roadside bomb in east Baghdad, the U.S. command said. The U.S. statement said the soldier assigned to Task Force Baghdad was killed on Monday. No other details were released. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of kin.
