Two workers of bakeshop killed in western Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Oct 7, 2006 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- Gunmen showered workers of a
bakeshop with bullets in a Baghdad western district on Saturday, killing two
workers and wounding another, an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

"Unknown gunmen stormed the al-Nahrain Bakeshop in the Mansur neighborhood
at about 11:00 a.m. (0800 GMT) and opened fire, killing two of them and
wounding another," the source said on condition of anonymity.

Separately, the police found five bodies in the al-Ma'amil road near the
neighborhood of Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, the source added.

The bodies were bound, blindfolded, showing signs of torture with bullet
holes in their heads and chests, he said.
