Three Polish soldiers injured in Iraq bomb explosion

WARSAW, Poland - (AP) A roadside bomb exploded in central Iraq on
Thursday, causing light injuries to three Polish soldiers and one Iraqi
child, a military spokesman in Warsaw said.
"Three soldiers were lightly injured in the legs" when the bomb
detonated at around 11 a.m. local time, said Col. Zdzislaw Gnatowski. He
said an Iraqi child was also hurt, but gave no other details.
The blast occurred about three kilometers (two miles) from the
Polish headquarters at Camp Echo.
So far, 17 Polish troops have been killed while serving in Iraq.
