AP - Basque voters were choosing a new government Sunday in Spain's most turbulent region, and for the first time the ruling Basque Nationalist Party is seeing a strong challenge from the Socialists.
First time ever Nationalists (which - probably from their anti Franco stance historically - in Spain believe they are left wing) will not call the shots in 28 yrs (all democracy) in the Basque Territories.
Together with the change in Galicia (PP won and will revert school education to include Spanish again) this makes analysts think the pendulum is swining back, this time against nationalism (which is the spanish word for regionalism) in general.
