sad photos...

I don't have words to express my gratitude for what our heroes have sacrificed or sorrow for such terrible things visited on children who's only crime was being born into a terrible situation.

I don't read much Spanish, but the title of the second link is The Genocide of the Iraqi People. Not exactly objective reporting by any stretch of the imagination.

So forget the spin. Everyone knows who spins what and which way they spin it. The images are of the victims of war; either those who willingly put themselves in harm's way or those who had no choice.

...one can feel empathy and pity without making political statements.

I start to wonder after seeing these pictures if it was worth it.

Children should never have to see the horrors of war.

The Cooler King said:
Why don't you look up some pictures of the bones they dug up as a result of Saddam's genocide.

Amen to that! Every time I hear someone complain about how many civilians were killed by the US in Iraq I always say "far less than the number by Saddam or the insurgents".
