In 1980 I bought a S&W Model 19 with 6 inch barrel. Over the years its had a lot of rounds through it and is still as accurate and locks up as tight as the day it was bought. Brilliant bit of kit.

I love that weapon. I will be buying a 686+ soon. most likely the 7-shot 6-inch. First handgun I ever fired. It is a wonderful piece. Very accurate and a great feel.

Another revolver I am very fond of, is my 1918 Webley Mk6 in 455. Its huge and very heavy, but what a joy to shoot. Run out of rounds, and you can club someone to death with it.
