Musharraf appears before Pakistani anti-terrorism court: lawyer

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf was taken before an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Saturday in connection with allegations that he ordered the illegal detention of judges while we has in power, his lawyer said. Pakistani television showed pictures of Musharraf entering the court in the capital, Islamabad, amid tight security. Police arrested Musharraf on Friday and took him into custody at a guest house in police headquarters in the city.
