It's because you're not trying to delete a post, but a thread (even if it has just one post)..

You're not allowed to delete threads, just single posts inside threads...

I used to have like TONS of milbucks before (several thousands if I'm right), now I noticed I only have a few hundreds. What has happened? Was it the change to the "new" style?
