Once a recruit makes it through Marine Corps bootcamp and School of Infantry (or MCT), does anyone know what the new training pipeline will be for joining the Marine Corp's newest group of special forces?

MARSOC doesn't have open recruiting or a defined and published for public consumption pipeline at this time. Remember, this is new..and all of the Marines are experienced in their fields. Do not expect to learn anything about it for some time.

Your best option is to attempt Indoc at SOI, as 03 indicated. If you pass, congrats..become the best Recon Marine you can be and do not worry about anything else. For now, however, I wouldn't worry about anything but becoming a Marine, if that is your goal.

Also, the Marine Corps doesn't have Special Forces, this is an asset only the US Army possess.

Oh ok, I was under the impression that the Marine Corps Special Operations Command meant that Detachment One was considered Special Forces.

Again, Special Forces is only an asset the United States Army has. It is a unit title, like Navy SEALs or Army Rangers. Army Special Forces is a title for a group.

Special Operations Forces, or SOF would be the correct terminology.
