How would I go about getting into the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)?

Hello everyone. I have said before I have wanted to join the US Army or USMC. I was under the impression that in order to get into the 101st I have to complete Air Assault training and then I get sent to the 101st. Is this true or it it more complex?

Plus I also wanna get into the 101st Airborne because it my favorite division in the Army (assuming I go Army of course). :)
 
What will happen is you will go see a recruiter, pick out a job and then start the negotiations. If you can get to the 101st, then once there, they will send you to Air Assault school. You don't have to have the training prior, but you will get it upon arrival to the Division.
