What you will need:
A nice clean pressed white collared shirt. A pair of nice but not too fancy black slacks and a red or black tie.
1 broken ear bud from a headset, a pair of dark pilot's glasses and a pair of handcuffs with a black leather suitcase.
Also rent a black SUV.
Now here's what to do:
Go several days without speaking to said roomate. Then park your vehicle at a friends house. Rent the black SUV and drive it home AFTER your roomate gets home from work.
Wearing the nice collared shirt with slacks, as well as polished leather shoes. Place the ear bud in your ear trailing the wire down your shirt collar. At 11:30 PM at night knock on roomate's door. With the leather suitcase handcuffed to your wrist wearing the dark glasses for no apparent reason.
Explain to your roomate you are "Going on a trip for a while." And the exact day you are returning. Explain that "If I expect any delays you will be" "In Contact". Maintain strict posture and eye contact, as you speak in a direct calm voice only. Do not answer any other questions.
Then as he eyes the briefcase walk outside the open front door , get in the opposite side of the Black SUV and drive away.
Come home a few days later normally dressed and in your own vehicle and enjoy the response!
