Well, I did a handy-dandy little search and couldn't find anything pertaining to wrestling, so I decided to start a topic. High School wrestling is beginning very soon (practice starts later today for me) and I was wondering if any of you currently wrestle or used to wrestle in either high school or college. Anybody have any cool experiences or anything?
Well, yesterday (Saturday) was our first meet, we placed third as a team and had a lot of individual placers, sadly I wasn't one of them. My first match I got a kid that had placed in the State Tournament a couple years ago, so I got pinned in the first period, then I lost 8-3 to some other kid. I didn't win, but it's just the beginning of the season, so that's to be expected. How did everyone else do?
