Anyone seen the Ring or the Grudge? The little girl with the black stringy is in both movies. This little girl is a common theme in Asian based ghost stories, just like the color green is said to attract ghosts in chinese ghost stories.
What I'm wondering, is what is the significance of wells in asian-influenced stories, such as in the Ring and the book Wind-up Bird Chronicles?
