I have been searching for a movie title for a while and cannot find any trace of it, I think it is from the early to mid 1990's.
The main character is ex military I think and ex Ranger, he and his family are attacked by criminals(bank robbers?) in Florida only he survives. The film goes about 5 or 10 years into the future. He is settled in a snowy location, Colorado I think. The same bunch of criminal's plane crashes near his cabin and they end up taking him and his female neighbor hostage in his home. He escapes and pursues them on snow shoes killing some of them with a bow and arrow and rescuing his neighbor who was being held hostage.
