I am a retired military officer of the Finnish Defence Forces.
As an officer my primary service branch was the Armour, even though I used to serve in the Reconnaissance & Guerilla branch over my few early years.
I speak (either fluently or passably) five foreign languages, including English and Russian, and I still continue studying and practicing my skills in languages.
I am a very big fan of military history, but yet I like to keep my mind also on the most recent new military developments and discoveries, as well as to maintain myself well updated over the international political variations and naturally the global military balance.
Nice to be here, hoping to read & learn some good thoughts and ideas.
