I found one of my old unit creast that was worn on the shoulder tabs. It says; MANUS SUBITIS AVIDAE. Does anyone know what it means. I looked it up. I think it means to " avidley free from bondage." please correct me if I'm wrong.

According to the book "US Army Heraldic Crests by Barry Jason Stein, Peter Joseph Capelotti", MANUS SUBITIS AVIDAE is the motto of the 328th Medical Battalion and it means "Hands eager for the emergency".
