Commander: Fire at will!

Soldier: Which one's Will?

That's funny but old. The first time I heard it was on a re-run of this 3 Stooges episode filmed in 1937.

We never had "fire at will", ours were Weapons Free (effectively unrestricted firing) and Weapons Tight (identified targets only), but that is a while ago.
