When I joined the Army back in July I was told that I would get to go to Europe, most likely Germany, unless I get into Airborne, which is my goal, well actually my goal is to become an Airborne Ranger, but we don't need to get into any great detail, I was told by my Army liason officer that it was guaranteed in my contract that I would spend one your of duty in Europe, he said I could look for myself if I wanted by I decided that it would be best not to read the fine print since I am sure that somewhere it says "incase of war or executive order your orders may be changed due to the current needs." I know it says something like that in there, what I want to know is if I will likely go to Europe for a year or end up going to Iraq.
