DoJ slams net neutrality, says all packets not created equal

Looks like the big money men got to the Justice Department -- today, the DoJ said ISPs should be allowed to charge higher fees for "priority" traffic on the internet. This is supremely bad news.
The agency told the Federal Communications Commission, which is reviewing high-speed Internet practices, that it is opposed to "Net neutrality," the principle that all Internet sites should be equally accessible to any Web user.

Cannot say I'm surprised.

How very typical of this administration, once again they prove to be Big Business little b****. I have seen male transvestite hookers in the Bois de Boulogne with more integrity.

This decision plays right into the hands of other countries who think the US should not be the internet caretaker, and now they will push even harder to make sure it is taken out of our control.

-With awful decisions like this can we blame them?

There is some light at the end of the tunnel. The Dem's and even some Republicans in congress favor net neutrality it will get eventually passed...the moment a new president is sworn in.
