Whenever I open a thread I am now getting a sort of colour bar on the right side of the page.

Nothing has been changed in the forum for a while now.
So if you see any changes like that it's probably a good idea to run a virus/malware-scan on your computer, since it seems like something is trying to change the appearance of websites you're visiting...

Malwarebytes is pretty good at finding things like that:

Edit: Can you also try to take a screenshot of a thread page with the color bar and post it here??

How do I do that? I'm a computer moron.

BTW, its only on this forum, not on any other.

I loaded and ran your malware program which pulled up a couple of pups. The colour bar has disappeared but instead there is a vertical facebook, tweeter etc selection bar.

Do you have adblock, it may have removed the adverts and left the colour surround.
