Egyptian sneak attack on one of the holiest days in the Jewish religion.
All Israeli outposts but one held out by the Egyptian onslaught.
Israeli tanks that counter attacked were sent with out infantry support and were being repelled by the Egyptians.
Later on the IDF massed another counter attack and cut the Egyptian Armies in Half.Succesfuly encircling the Egyptian 3rd Army
