As it happens Spike, he's confirmed what I have thought all along, pious bible bashers like Padre are vindictive and spiteful.

I suspected all along Padre was a Catholic by his very verbal and aggressive defence of Catholics. I'd like him to point out where I said ALL Catholics were bad, corrupt, hypocritical, evil, etc. He cannot, because that came from his own imagination.

You are right Spike, the only one he has taken the piss out of is himself.

He has shown himself to be totally out of touch of the real world in the 1950's when I was a boy by his silly statement, " If I was in that class I would have thrown the duster back at the vicious nun." Yea right sunbeam, you wouldn't dare talk back to nuns/teachers, coppers or parents. As for throwing the duster back at her, you would have been kicked out of the school quicker then you can say AMEN. You are living in a dream world Padre.

He still can't get it into his thick head that I was talking about my experiences as I have told the pillock over and over again, which for some reason he chooses to ignore. He cannot refute one word of what I have said regarding the IRA and Mafia going to church on Sunday for forgiveness and then commit the same crimes on Monday morning, neither can he refute the fact that many top ranking Catholics actively sought out NAZI's to help them escape justice.

Thank you Padre, you have confirmed to me (and no doubt others) that what I have been saying has been right all along.

I didn't disrupt this thread Padre, you did. As I have told you over and over again of my experiences at the hands of nun's and the Catholic church. You could have ignored my post altogether or simply said along the lines of, "That sort of thing doesn't happen today." Instead you went into a long and drawn out diatribe.

I could give you hundreds of examples of the pious Catholic church, the torture of heretics and witches, in fact I can drown you with facts about the so called "Christian Catholic Church."

If I rattled your cage Padre, tough sh!te. Get over it.

This clip started a discussion / debate in the Thread.
Odd as I admired Dawkins until I read his books and then I realised he was an overly verbose prat who liked the sound of his own voice to the point of being boring.

Seriously the guy could save thousands of trees by halving the size of his books and nothing useful would be lost.

That being said I almost agree with him although not entirely as I am still technically an agnostic in that while I don't believe there is a god the scientist side of me can not discount the possibility of there being one without proof.

Yes indeed, you rattled the cage, but I'm on its outside.

I keep telling the zoo keeper to keep all the cages locked.
