Technical trade or clerical for example......
I don't know about female AF members - but I know some AF members do "hump" rucks through the boonies, just as all sailors are not on ships.

That's odd. I encountered USAF females in "Female Engagement Teams" with American PRTs in Afghanistan.

Indeed. Plenty of females in the USAF Security Forces who do the same stuff as the men. One particular unit, the 820th SecFor Group are even para qualified and do lots of expeditionary and outside the wire work. I worked with a past CO of the unit (Col Don Derry) when we were both on exchange to the RAF Regiment in 1992.
