Pakistan's pilots shot down 10 Israeli fighters? Scramble's a pretty good web site can't really see them posting this without some proof but it doesn't sound right. Wanted to get some input from others is this possible?

Thanks

Quote from scramble
The Six-Day War between Israel and a number of Arab countries in 1967.
During this conflict the PAF sent personnel to Egypt, Jordan and Syria to support the Arabs in their battle against the Israelis. PAF pilots managed to shoot down ten Israeli aircraft, including Mirages, Mystères and Vautours, without losses on their own side. The PAF pilots operated with Egyptian, Jordanese and Iraqi combat aircraft.

If true, according to international law, I believe those PAF pilots needed to be either retired or expelled and no longer officially be on duty. Otherwise Pakistan would have been involved. I doubt it's true though. Do Scramble point to a reliale source themselves?

Could be if they were training with those Air Forces. Kinda like Soviet Pilots in Korea or Soviet and Chinese pilots in Vietnam.

It's not out of the realm of possibilty.

I certinly do not remember this. It is possible, as the IAF fought dogfights against several air forces you wouldent expect. For example the ones i'm sure of are- USSR, North Korea, UK. The IAF lost 46 aircraft in the 1967 war, most to AA guns and some in dogfights.

There are plenty claims on Pakistani sites, but here are two which may be more independent assuming it wasn't just copied!

Six-Day War
Main articles: Six-Day War and Six-Day War
In between the war of 1965 and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, PAF sent its pilots to many Arab nations during the Six-Day War. Pakistani pilots flew in the Air Forces of Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, recording 3 confirmed kills against the Israeli Air Force (including Mirages, Mystères and Vautours) without losing any of their own planes. Flight Lieutenant Saif-ul-Azam was decorated by both Jordanian and Iraqi governments for shooting down Israeli planes.

All over the world you will find different countries pilots flying in different Air Forces, The Russians flew against the America in both Vietnam and Korea so why not have some PAF Pilots flying for another Muslim country
