WWI + Other Wars Quiz (If question is not answered within 10 days or more I'll answer it)

Don't know about WWII, but in the US Civil War a Union flag bearer survived getting hit by a volley. Reportedly a pound of lead was removed by doctors. A miracle of sorts.
I'm still talking about WW1 after the question it's WW2

Correct

Last question then we'll move on to WW2

Who was the unkillable solider and what were his wounds?
Your avatar gives it away a little, the guy was a Belgian serving with the British army Adrian Carton de Wiart.

His wounds were numerous, so I won't list them, but they included the loss of an eye, amputation of fingers and the subsequent amputation of the hand.

It is the answer to your question, but I got here via a bookmark, unless you want to go back further but I don't feel like explaining the birds and the bees or do you mean philosophically?
The US fought in Africa 1st, not the Pacific. The Pacific was last.
