Not sure it can be described as a tank since that shed they built on its roof means the turret cant traverse, at best it is now something along the lines of a tank destroyer.
I have been wondering about this as they apparently have to use two drones to kill it, what would happen if they effectively used a Molotov cocktail on it as it would put the crew in a pressure cooker. It looks like they built a shed on top of the tank
Makes sense to use AT mines but I do agree with I3 they do look like a shed on tank treadsI have been wondering about this as they apparently have to use two drones to kill it, what would happen if they effectively used a Molotov cocktail on it as it would put the crew in a pressure cooker.
Alternatively, drone dropped AT mines.
Now that they have added mine rollers, they look almost like a two-story house on tracks.Makes sense to use AT mines but I do agree with I3 they do look like a shed on tank treads
As is always the case, technology only gives a few weeks advantage before it is negated by counter measures.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians had a 3 turret tank come to the fight and be utterly useless. Now that they have added mine rollers, they look almost like a two-story house on tracks.
They are nearly twice the height of the original tank which will make then great artillery targets as well as for ATGM crews.
Wohoo, Ukraine has a new tool shed.
I was thinking Star wars as well but I thought a sandcrawler that the Jawa's used...Sorta looks like an Imperial Walker....
Yup, or a Walker w/o legs!I was thinking Star wars as well but I thought a sandcrawler that the Jawa's used...
Seriously how dumb are these Russians that they drove up to some guys with an M-113 (probably the most recognisable and iconic APC the Ukrainians have) because they thought they were Russian, did they confuse it for the new Russian turtle roller-skate?
I suspect the typical rural Russian doesn't have access to info like we do, but that might be stereotyping, but seems to be the case here.Seriously how dumb are these Russians that they drove up to some guys with an M-113 (probably the most recognisable and iconic APC the Ukrainians have) because they thought they were Russian, did they confuse it for the new Russian turtle roller-skate?
While that is probably true they have a ready made solution already in place, Russian crap has a Z on the side, Ukrainian crap has a + on the side so even if you can't tell the difference between an M-113 and a BMP-1 you can still spot the difference, on top of that just about every Ukrainian vehicle I have seen has one of these which looks almost nothing like the patch on their sleeve.I suspect the typical rural Russian doesn't have access to info like we do, but that might be stereotyping, but seems to be the case here.
