LeEnfield Active member Sep 20, 2005 #1 George Rice aged 108 died last week, he was one of a handful of WW1 Vets remaining from the 5.4 million men that fought in this war. George joined the Durham Light Infantry at 17 and was a machine gunner in the trenches.
