I thought I had held it tight enough. The guy said "I want to see white on your hands." Yeah, it almost hit me in the forehead. Needless to say I learned my lesson and held it really snug after that.

Damien435 Active member Apr 14, 2006 #8 Shotguns are very tricky, when it's your first time, "oh it can't be that bad, can it?" BAM! "Ouch! :cen:" However I was using my Uncle's .41 Magnum and I also understimated that, there's a reason you don't lock your elbows out straight with those things.
