AP - The Organization of American States has reproached the United States and the European Union for refusing to participate in Colombia's peace process with right-wing paramilitary groups despite what it called impressive progress.

The US needs to give more than lip service to this, at least for awhile to see how it pans out. The AUC is a grownup version of Los Pepes and in some regions more successful than the CAF against FARC. It wouldn't hurt to give some aid money to transition these guys.
