Can I post this here? You have me more confused then blind epileptic blonde and I apologize to the blondes for the politically incorrect joke.

Anyhow, can we post about him here? Are you going to take me out of the fort and rip my patches off if I am making a boo boo?

I just wanted to ask if his being gone is:

1. Going to stop the terrorism
2. Better victory then bin Laden
3. How did they get him? Were they watching him before? Was that drone there anyways?
4. What the hell is a drone anyway?

O.k. it was nice knowing you before I am booted out of here for hopeless insubordination. :crybaby:

1. Hells no. His death may slow down the insurgency command chain for a little, but it will in no way make terrorism disappear. The way I see it, it's only a matter of time before insurgents realize that the US is there to stay until a stable Iraq emerges, then the Americans leave. So, I think the insurgency will slowly in time slip away in the shadows of the Iraqi slums. As for terrorism on an international basis, you can't really stop that. There will always be some Group X opposed to Government Y and will use whatever means to bring it down. Like the saying goes, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter."

2. Possibly. Bin Laden has been in hiding for the last few years and that type of leadership doesn't send a strong message of strength and defiance to the lower ranks. I think because of al-Zarqawi's death, Bin Laden will take better measures in security seeing as how the US did eventually catch up to him.

3. Take your pick....
