I'm jumping on the "What's my IP craze" here, but with an "improved" version this time..

It's mostly for fun and PHP practice, but I'm now developing

www.spyber.com

It's programmed in a mix of PHP, Java and HTML...

It finds your IP, and tries to determine if you're "hiding" behind a proxy, and (try to) display your real IP and Proxy IP if you are.
(50%-60% successful in finding your real IP. it's real hard to make it more accurate)

It gives you your Operation System and Browser info/version
(20-30 browsers and OS detected now, more will be added)

Gives you your complete useragent.

Your screen resolution and color depth
(requires java).

How you found the site (referrer)

And last but not least, it analyzes your useragent for know spyware/adware agents.
(only 5 common ones added so far, many more will be added soon..)

Please check it out and let me know if it displays the correct info, and if it's able to detect your proxy IP (if you're using one)...
It does also (kind of) work on WAP devices like cellophanes...
(at least it worked on mine...)

Any suggestions to other features I should add there??

Updated the quick Spyware/Adware scanner/analyzer a bit today.
It will display some additional info if it detects anything on your computer.. :)

Hmm..
Geotargeting of IPs isn't that hard, as long as I can find a good (and updated) IP-country database..
And those can cost a bit of money, and they can be HUGE (many hundreds of megabytes)...

But I'll see if I can find a simpler (and cheaper) solution to it later..
Just playing with PHP right now.. :)

It should detect what country you're from now, and also what country you're Proxy is in (if you're using one).

Found a free IP-country database, and uploaded it into a MySql database..
It wasn't more than 3mb, so I'm not sure it will detect all countries, but it looks like it's working ok...

--Press Run

-- Open the Command Prompt ( by Typing Command or CMD there )

--In the Command Prompt Type ipconfig

Vola what could all these numbers be ........... :D

OR

--Press Start

--Press Run

--Type winipcfg

Updated the Spyware/Adware definitions a bit, and also added explanation links if it detects any Spy/Adware on your computer.. :)

That applies to all Mircosoft Operating systems above Windows95. Not unless someone is using Apple or Linux Operating Systems
 
Yet another update, PHP is fun.. :)

Fixed a couple of small bugs.
Also made a "light" version of it for WAP/Portable devices that doesn't handle frames very well.

It works on my Sony Ericsson, haven't tested it on anything else yet.. :)

Some minor layout changes, added flags on the IP geotargeting, and optimized/changed the proxy detection code a bit..
