Am. Revolution: I have no idea.

Civil War: GGGG Uncle (Imprisoned at Andersonville) and that is all I know who was in that war.

Spanish-American War: My grandma's great uncle (I believe) rode with The Roughriders.

WWI: Don't know.

WWII: 2 of my mom's great uncles who were brothers- one served in the Navy on a battleship, and the other was in the Army, 101 Airborne - starting from D-Day.

Korea: No idea

Vietnam: My uncle served in the Air Force SOFs.

During Vietnam/Cold War, my Grandpa was in the Navy on a sub.

Desert Storm: My uncle served as a Marine in a weapons platoon, and three of my dad's cousins were in the 82nd Airborne.

I am sure there are more, just no more that I know of.

Lets see, my family goes back fairly far. Great great (add more greats here) grandfather was a Minute Man. Had a GrandFather who fought in the trenches durring WWII and a Great Grandfather that fought in WWII, and my currently living Grandfather fought in the Korean War, 3rd Air Sea Rescue, Air Force. My othe GreatGrandfather was a sea-going Marine. He saw combat durring 'conflicts' he got shot in the head and lived, it sliced across the top of his head so it didn't actually go into his head. There were no young men in our family durring the Viet Nam war so no one fought in that and I'm sure at least one of my relatives was in WWI.

Well, oviously all my family since 48....As Israel has mandatory service...

So lets just talk about officers:

Grandfather on moms side: Was an officer in the British army in WWII, cant remember his rank but he was at El Alamein and at Malta. He joined the Hagana after WWII, than in 1948 became an officer with the IDF. Eventually retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Father: was a Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF

Mother: was a Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF.

My parent are divorced and remarried. My moms husband was a Colonel in the IDF.

My real sister, and 2(maybe three, i cant remember right now) of my step brothers were officers ranking from Lieutenant to Captain.

Not that much military in my family, and i dont' know anything past my great grandfather, but he was a mechanic for CAF pilots in the RAF during WW2, my grandfather on my mothers side was a radio operator in the navy, and my grandfather was an intelligence officer with 410 fighter squadron(I think) from the mid 50's to the late 80's
