he seems to have stabbed them in the back, something Bush didnt do but should have. But he's weak and everybody sees it.

Bush did. Republicans, for the most part, voted in a Rep Prez & Rep. controlled Congress. We expected a big effort to cut the size & expanse of Govt & reduced spending. Instead we got a big spending Big Govt republican that bloated the spending & the Govt, basicly Democrat Lite. Can't argue with your last sentence.
