Will an older soldier e-adopt me?
I was wondering if an older soldier would e-adopt me? My father has left the family and I have no friends in my town. I'm a 24 years old woman and I'm not religious. I have no one to talk to the whole day other than my mother. Please, anyone?

anisbored, maybe you are for real - maybe not.

Just in case you are not a troll (or worse) the invitation to enter into a relationship (even on the internet) from a young woman is a minefield - so many things can explode in your face that we all are (or should be) leery.

The internet is full of traps for the uninitiated as many of us are.

You must be careful of what you are doing online. To ask for what you asked for can open a can of worms. Would you ask that kind of question to a stranger on the street or in a bar? Probably not, so it is much better to have the similar approach when you are online

I suspect from other posts that it was more a request for someone to talk to rather than a bar date though.

As far as it goes I don't think it was a bad request although it may have been worded badly.
