Denny Landzaat is not looking to quit Wigan Athletic Football Club.
Reports have suggested the Dutch international is unhappy at the JJB Stadium following his summer move from AZ Alkmaar, yet he has hit back at these claims and insists he is perfectly happy with the Latics.
"There was a story in the press in Holland which has upset me and I have been misquoted," Landzaat told the club's website. "I came in first thing yesterday to set the record straight with the manager and apologised for the confusion.
"The quotes have been taken totally out of context. I always knew it would take time, and I know that the Wigan fans have not really seen the real Denny Landzaat yet."
