Hooo,... Boy,... it's been many years since I've seen such an attack of the sulks from a person over 5 years of age.

It's certainly fun to watch though, I'd say that he's prolly just gone outside to kick the cat.

Awww,... shite..., I get the giggles just thinking about it. Pbbbtt!

To those who have never met an American who takes jury duty seriously: I have been called to jury duty 12 times and have served on 9 juries. I have served on both criminal and civil cases. I consider it an honor and a duty and I have never shirked my duty.
As to it being a pain, I'll agree that it is considered inconvenient by most. It is my personal observation that once someone is selected however, they do take their charge as a juror quite seriously.

It can also be noted that the people complaining about it have no first hand experience. It is always, "I heard from someone, that knows someone, that almost had to serve on a jury one time, I think."

Hope the ones who were in the military, took their military duties more seriously than they are taking their civil duties.

I'd say they certainly got it wrong when they selected you.......
I know that I am dumb, but please humour the idiot and explain how this statement denies that you have served on a jury?

Read the last four words and repeat aloud. You were too damned eager to put on an act and play the injured party. You are a damned fraud amongst other things, and you have just confirmed your self centred attention seeking nature,....

.... other than the fact that, you have just shot any shred of credibility you may once have had, to hell and gone.

A grown guy who's scanned and sent his jury duty papers to a guy he hardly knows in order to win an internet argument.
Wow.

Yeah,... but when you do you have to accept that your actions might result in painful consequences, and take your licks like a man.

The death penalty has a major problem to it. In the current legal system it costs 3 times as much to execute someone than to simply keep them in prison for the rest of their lives. Whats more is that they will not only put death row inmates on suicide watch they will also even go as far as to swap the area to be injected. If you ask me we should scrap all current methods of capital punishment and revert to some of the following:

1. Start a penal colony on the most diseased island in the pacific or Caribbean.
2. Use them for medical tests.
3. Throw them off a very high peak (the wildlife in the surrounding area will provide clean up although people might panic if they found body parts around the forrest)
4. Public hangings
5. Use them in military campiagns to start insurgenies in rival nations
6. Put them on ships that are to be scuttled
7. throw them out a plane into the ocean
8. Public executions via gunshot to the back of the head
9. Lock them in a room and let them strave (very cost effective)
10. Make them fight one another in various battles (like gladiators)

But the only problem with any of these punishments is that you risk killings innocents.
