Why conservative ideology turns me off

I hear some conservatives label people leeches and parasites. That angers me. I think all Americans should respect each other and help the weakest members of society. I know a conservative history professor at my college who said poor people should be happy even if they are not able to climb the social ladder.

I'm sure there is context to what he said that you aren't providing.

What you are doing is projecting. Coming into this forum without even introducing yourself expecting the rest of us to care about what "turns you off" is pretty arrogant actually...no less than that professor anyways.
 
You have a very naive and overly simplistic view of society.

If you become an earner-one who applies himself over a long period and achieves things through labor and diligence, you might rethink your position.

There are career victims who live by leeching the system and bleeding we who fill the trough.
