Where oh where is Kim Jong Un

Where oh where is our little buddy Kim Jong Un? He hasn't been seen in public in some time and official announcement about him refer to his "discomfort" that prevent him from attending to public duties. Recently some high -ranking NKPA officials showed up in South Korea and were making nice with the S.Koreans. Nothing good comes out of North Korea, so no matter what Kim's status is, S. Korea and everybody else had better be on guard.

There has been rumours for quite a while that he has been sidelined by a group of the "old guard" after he had one of his family members executed.

Seeing as he starved 1/2 his people to build the army and work on A-Bomb development I won't miss him, the bugger.
 
Friday, Oct. 10 was the anniversary of the founding of the North Korean People's Party, a very big day in NK. Kim apparently wasn't invited to the celebration or he overslept or whatever. His absence is quite remarkable.

That is highly unusual...something is definitely going on there.
 
Okay, Kim is out of the closet again! He has made a public appearance, so is is still breathing, although what else he is still doing is open to conjecture. He may have become a figurehead, like a powerless monarch. North Korea has been run by a member of the Kim family since the end of WWII, so it would be difficult to maintain stability within the country without at least the appearance that it is business as usual. It fascinating to watch NK. It's like watching a TV drama unfolding where you don't know the outcome. Of course in this case, the ending may be really ugly.
