Hi all - I'm new to the forum and just found this discussion interesting. Some of you have great plans for your future military careers and I wish you all the luck in the world. Just don't be too discouraged if your 1st choices don't pan out. It's always good to have a backup plan and to remain flexible and never lose sight of your goals.

Just saw this. Good catch Redleg. Remember PERSEC. No names on an open forum. Always PM or E-mail.

As for being able to look him up online, no. Short of being able to get in touch with his family, or someone that knows him .. you won't be able to find out any info.

How did that work, if you don't mind my asking? I mean being a mechanic and a "food service specialist?" Did you do both jobs at the same time?

The way I was told is that because there were no slots open in food service the mess sgt made room for me but if there was a need for personel in the motor pool I would go back there since my primary MOS was light wheeled vehicle mechanic
