Ok. Change of plan. I am enlisting and going Active Duty. Things aren't workin out anymore here so I'm gonna go full time.

Before you make the decision of Active Duty vs. Reserves or National Guard, you need to define what your objectives are. Each one has distinctive advantages / disadvantages, depending upon what your goals are.

You might also add to you consideration that you might be able to request deployment to get away from a situation at home.

The point is think it through, and decide what will be the best fit for you. Once you sign the contract, it isn't easy to get out of it.

Everything the recruiter told me would work, didn't. So I just told him I'd go somewhere else.
