I can not pick a favorite book, but I can tell you my favorite Author and favorite series.

My favorite author is Harry Turtledove, he writes about alternate history, what if books. My favorite Series of his is the World War/Colonization series.

I have the World War/Colonisation series also. They are great. The Nazi-Race war was good. Will there be another book?

Bravo Two Zero - Andy McNab
Immediate Action - Andy McNab <-----Interesting insight into the SAS

I like:

We Were Soldiers
In the Company of Men: a woman in the Citadel
Lords of Discipline (<--I'm still reading it and I think it is a very good book.)
Left Behind Series
Black Hawk Down
A Walk to Remember
Boston Jane

My new favorites would have to be Black Hawk Down (Mark Bowden) and The Battle of Mogadishu (Eversmann, Schilling) for some reason Operation Gothic Serpent is so interesting, and the books written about it are brilliant.

I also liked Immediate Action.
