What will history think of the 20th century

Have you ever considered what text books for world history would write about in the future? I'd imagine things like the vietnam war would be footnotes by that time. That the world wars would be the possible equivalent of the napoleonic wars in terms of significance, and the cold war would be an era of tension similar to the imperialist era. What do you guys think?

That's a pretty good description, 13th. A lot has happened in the past century that history books will look at and say that it was a turning point.

Plus...there were some points in the last century where there might not have been a future. Early 60's Cuba, anyone?

The history books of the future, be they in paper or binaries will probably call the 20th century as the time when the industrial world took its first steps
