Written by the group's then lead singer,Walter Orange, and recorded in 1984.

Gonna be some sweet sounds coming down on the night shift
I bet you're singing proud, I bet you'll pull a crowd
Gonna be a long night it's gonna be all right on the night shift

U2, An Irish band from Dublin ~ 'Mysterious Ways' ~ 1991

Johnny take a walk with your sister the moon
Let her pale light in to fill up your room
You've been living underground
Eating from a can
You've been running away
from what you don't understand, Love
She's slippy, you're sliding down

It's alright, she moves in mysterious ways

Johnny take a dive with your sister in the rain
Let her talk about the things you can't explain
To touch is to heal, to hurt is to steal
If you want to touch the sky
better learn how to kneel
On your knees boy...

It's alright, she moves in mysterious ways

Maroon 5, "This Love" 2002

I'll fix these broken things
Repair your broken wings
And make sure everything's alright
My pressure on your hips
Sinking my fingertips
Into every inch of you
Because I know that's what you want me to do

Al Green performing the Bee Gees 1971 hit "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?"

I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow
No one said a word about the sorrow...
How can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go 'round?

I tried to run off a quick index from my music server ( which is only a small laptop wired into our stereo) It was far too long, so I reduced the page size and took a Screenshot, the summary is at the bottom.

I just love my music, everything from 1930s to light opera.

Shirl makes up lots of Playlists to be played while she does her housework. We have such Playlists as "Washing Day" "Floors day" and "Dusting" among the usual "High School Memories" etc.

It's all WiFi backed up to a Fireproof Safe in my workshop which is 40 metres from the house so I figure it unlikely that they would both burn together should we be unlucky enough to have a fire.

Listening to a couple of Spike's favorites, The Ink Spot's "I'm Beginning To See The Light" and "I'll Never Smile Again"

When the men on the chessboard get up
And tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice, I think she'll know

The Doors~~ "LA Woman"~~1971 Album: LA Woman

Jim Morrison died less than three months after the release of the album.

I see your hair is burnin'
Hills are filled with fire
If they say I never loved you
You know they are a liar
Drivin' down your freeway
Midnight alleys roam
Cops in cars,
The topless bars
Never saw a woman
So alone...
